Dwight serves at ECHO

This is Dwight, all decked out in his ECHO tie. Dwight volunteers two days a week at ECHO. ECHO stands for Educational Concerns for Hunger Organization. Their center is in North Fort Myers where they simulate four different growing habitats from much rain to little rain, etc. They are constantly striving to perfect ways of food production for each ecological type. Development workers and missionaries find this place to be a veritable encyclopedia of knowledge.

Dwight, who lives near Arcadia, about 12 miles away, counts his two days a week at ECHO as a special gift from God because he can employ many of his interests in nature and missions in a meaningful way as he serves as a guide.

We visited with Dwight Feb. 8 - 17 and enjoyed seeing him enjoying life to the hilt.
