Meet Sandra again. She is the one and only child of Willard and Dolly, my oldest brother. After bearing 9 children, her husband left her so she trained as a nurse, raised the family and is now retired in Port Charlotte, Florida. One of the children drowned tragically as a youngster. The rest are busy raising families! Almost all attend the same church in Port Charlotte and among them are quite a few teachers.
Not all are pictured here, just those who were at the Saturday night meeting. All the children are married but Matthew. One of the sons, Dan, lives in Maine with an energetic wife who has a herd of goats and produces sought-after goat cheese!
Dwight, Anna Ruth and I had supper on Saturday night with Sandra at The Cracker Barrel and then piled in at the new home of Adam and Aime and their two kids. What an evening. Here are a few of the slides of the people.
