Mid-August a Memorial Bench commemorating the life of Sandy (Jacobs) Hite was placed in front of the Hall of Arts and Letters at Grove City College, Grove City, PA. You will recall that she died in 2005 of cancer.
Bill, Sandy's husband, writes: "I think I mentioned that Sandy’s GCC Girls’ Group plus a few others were donating a bench in Sandy’s name. Well, it’s been delivered and installed, so here are some pictures so you can see what it looks like. It’s quite a large bench – I think they’ll be able to fit the entire GCC Girls’ Group on it! They’re going to have a small dedication ceremony during homecoming in October (it’ll be our 25 year reunion!) and the Girls’ Group is having their annual weekend there at the college, so they should all be there! Bill"
